DESCRIPTION:
For the past nine years, Fenou is a sub-division of the renowned Mo`s Ferry Productions and is the epitome of a sophisticated taste somewhere between harmonious Electronica sound and swinging Minimal-Electro. Now, "Fenou Bouquet Vol. 3" compiled by Douglas Greed appears as another exciting showcase on the small but nice Fenou-Rooster and show some new artists who have found their way there!
Founded in 2005, Fenou has soon become a home for hip acts like Kadebostan, Sebastian Russell, Lake Powel, Mooryc, Schlepp Geist and Benotmane and of course producer and label owner Niklas Worgt with all of its projects, such as Dapayk solo, Dapayk & Padberg, and many other who have been established themselves in the international club scene. With the new part of the label compilation "Fenou Bouquet", the series now enters the third round.
"Fenou Bouquet Vol. 3" is compiled by none other than Douglas Greed. The Compilation shows an eclectic track selection and a wide-ranging overview of new developments and upcoming releases of the music of Berlin’s underground. After Marcel Knopf and Dapayk solo Jena based Turntable Rocker proves his knack for this very special kind of "Cute Minimal Electronica" which Fenou devotes itself to.
The first two compilations were a well balanced mix of new exclusive material and older pieces of the label catalog. On "Fenou Bouquet Vol. 3" almost every track is entirely new and largely exclusive. This compilation by Douglas Greed reflects all the stylistic preferences of the bustling DJ and Producer, who has already released on labels like Infiné, Gigolo, Kindisch, Lebensfreude, Acker, Freude am Tanzen or Bpitch Control.
"Fenou Bouquet" bears Douglas' distinct mark: starting from clubby-driving electronica tunes by Jon Donson, Einzelkind, Sebastian Russell, to housy-gentle moments of Schlepp Geist, Klute and An on Bast, followed by floating trance tracks by The Micronaut, Daniel Nitsch or Mollono.Bass to a trippy after-hour atmosphere by Deer and Clara Moto and closing with a slightly darkening track by Swimmingpool.
