Blame is one of the most creative producers on the drum & bass scene having hits with Music Takes You and Planet Neptune on the massively respected Moving Shadow label. Joining king of liquid drum and bass LTJ Bukem’s Good Looking Records, Blame mixed the 2nd Logical Progression compilation series to great acclaim and globally toured with LTJ Bukem. Setting up own label 720 Degrees, Blame has also released on the mighty Hospital Records, Metalheadz and Charge Recordings.
In 2008 Blame released Stay Forever, a beautiful blend of beats and soaring strings that caught Radio 1’s attention in a massive way. Blame & Selah's “09 follow up Because Of You became Zane Lowe's Hottest Record In The World and Sara Cox's Single Of The Week. Blame is also renowned for his remixing skills that include David Guetta & Kelly Rowland’s UK no.1 hit When Love Takes Over; Steve Angello & Laidback Luke feat. Robin S Show Me Love and Alesha Dixon’s pop smash Let’s Get Excited.
Blame’s debut artist album The Music will be released this summer, pulling in collaborations with the massive Tinchy Stryder, respected microphone lyricist Dynamite MC, new upstart Fuda Guy, house legend Jocelyn Brown, Roll Deep Crew collaborator Alex Mills, UK hip hop originator Rodney P and new voices Tom Sears, DRS, Jenna G, Camilla and Jenny Fitz plus more surprises currently in polishing… The Music is set to send shockwaves through not only drum & bass and UK nu-urban but beyond into crossover pop.
The first single On My Own will be released this April, featuring the chart topping Tinchy Stryder and new star Fuda Guy backed by Alex Mills. This is a break beat driven, electro edged, cross-over anthem in the making. With follow up singles slated to include the Fuda Guy & Camilla track Stars plus the awesome Goldmine featuring the liquid lyrical skills of Dynamite MC, the year ahead already looks set on course. Don’t blame us, Blame The Music… Stay tuned for further news!
