DESCRIPTION:
Performing at the NC METALFEST 2011 in Wilson, North Carolina on Saturday October 8, 2011.

Founded in Greenville, North Carolina, the band began writing and rehearsing during the fall of 1998 with Ted Gasper on guitar; the sole remaining original member. Original drummer Bennie Powell is now in the band Valient Thorr. Lineup changes seemed to plague the band, eventually a steady lineup was achieved with the addition of drummer Jason Stallings, bassist Ray King and the second guitarist Hoyt Minges.

In the fall of 2010, Jason Stallings was replaced by Craig Amandolia on drums.

Their genre is Black Metal and Thrash. Heavily influenced by the melody of such Swedish bands as: At the Gates, Early In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Eucharist, and Dimension Zero. Equally inspired by metal gods Judas Priest, the almighty King Diamond, old Metallica, Death, and Slayer. "Burn the Blood" is now based in Raleigh, NC.

Their lyrics and overall concept of the band foretell of a bleak future - humankind's final hour. As we have led ourselves to the brink of our own demise on a road paved with selfishness and in "humanity" only to awaken to ruin and regret.

Over the years, the band has toured in the North and South Carolina region. They have shared the stage with the likes of: Vital Remains, Deceased, Daylight Dies, Valient Thorr, Lecherous Nocturne, Lust Of Decay, Wretched, The Knifetrade, The Kickass, Widow, Omniscient, Domination Through Impurity, Apotheosys and Thunderlip to name a few.

Burn the Blood is in the process of recording their debut full length album "Won". Drum tracks was completed by former Burn the Blood drummer Jason Stallings.
