Hue And Cry - I Refuse (SiX DwArf Promo Edit) the original song for the first time (stereo) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Apr 16, 2011
DESCRIPTION:
There is no official video for the original album cut of their swaggering debut single I Refuse that helped propel Hue and Cry into the national consciousness. The others on YouTube appear to be either awful remixes or are badly shot studio performances with dodgy sound quality . So here's one, re-edited, cut up and synced by SexDwarf. Lie back, stick your headphones on and admire the Kanes' swagger.

Hue and Cry were formed in 1983 in Coatbridge, Scotland by the brothers Pat Kane (Sinatra-esque vocals and swagger) and Greg Kane (Music/Production). They had a number of hits in the UK Singles Chart in the late 1980s, and early 1990s, and have released sixteen albums from 1987 to date.
I Refuse, their debut single for Circa reached number 85 in the UK Singles Chart. Their second single and, to date, biggest hit was the wonderful Labour Of Love (1987, UK No. 6). Both songs were from their superb debut album Seduced and Abandoned.

NOTE: This remix project is a strictly non-money making venture. Nothing is for sale. Just done for fun. And remember.
There's no campaigns, no commerciality, no vested interest.
Nothing is sacred. Don't do genre... it's stereotype by another name.
