Clone Quartet was founded by Andy Henry but soon developed into a formidable live band with his brother, Steven Henry on bass and synthesizer and art college pal Steven Quinn on drums. Former collaborators also included stalwarts of the Belfast scene, Barry Cullen (BEW), Gavin Reid (Panda Kopanda) and Stuart Bell (Panama Kings).



Praised for their inventiveness and originality, the Clone Quartet band played frenetically until songwriter and instigator Andy relocated to London in late 2007. Supports with the likes of CSS and The Rapture, and a video collaboration with Japanese performance artist Tomoko Takahishi culminated in the release of the single, 'Carousel' (Tigertrap Records) and the album, 'Well-Oiled Machine' (Tigertrap / Smalltown America Records) to favorable reviews.



Fast forward to 2010 and after producing 'Broken Spectre' with established house producer, Gregory Ferguson (Jupiter Ace), Clone Quartet are preparing to release the record in the UK and Japan.
