DESCRIPTION:
This a recording of Tanith's set at the Walfisch Revival Party (or Walfisch Reloaded) in the original location of the Walfisch on June 7, 2013. Tanith features a AWESOME old skool mix that sounds like it was from back in the days but naturally the sound quality is better as on my mixtapes.

Tanith is one of the techno DJ pioneers of Berlin. He introduced the Cyberspace Club @ the club UFO on Wednesdays already in 1990. As techno took off in 1991 he was a resident @ Tresor and Walfisch. From summer 1993 he was with Spezial the resident DJ at the club Exit. Tanith is still around (regular dates at Suicide Circus and SO36 in Berlin).

The Walfisch was the first after-hour techno club in Berlin and Germany. In the end of 1990 and the beginning of 1991 it was a music cafe which also could be rented for parties. But, if I remember right, around March/April '91 it started to be a after-hour club and opend its doors every Saturday and Sunday from 6 am on. A couple of months later the Walfisch had ongoing parties from Friday evening to Monday morning almost every weekend!
