Next up for your listening pleasure, is this funky roller by none other than the mighty Peshay! I wanted to upload some Peshay tunes for a long time but his stuff tends to get blocked by Universal or some other company. Hopefully I'll be more lucky with this badboy, straight off his Funkster EP out now on V Records. Every track on this release is top notch, and reminds me a lot of the early 2000s tunes you would find on Fabio's original Liquid Funk compilation album, where the transition from the late 90s Jazzstep into a more funk and disco infused sound is still very much present. If you're a fan of that early liquid sound I recommend you check out all of the Funkster EP. Boogaloo is my personal favourite of the EP because I love those strings and those pitch shifting, almost acid-like, synth sounds! Enjoy ...
