(Part 03 of 05) I still remember my first impressions when I ended up by accident on the entrance of Hoellisch Club, around august 1990. It' s not the type of a venue you'd find everywhere, on the contrary - just like Madame Sata, Retro and Armageddon, Hoellisch had that unique atmosphere.
The regulars, believe it or not, would come from different places, and despite being from diverse origins, had one very important aspect in common - they were all obsessed for Music. No matter which type of obstacles they would face during the week, they knew they would end up on their favorite hellish dungeon.
On this part of the video footage, DJ Magal reminds us of some Hoellisch classics (played on many other venues as well) such as 'Let Your Body Learn' and 'Murderous' (Nitzer Ebb), which DJ Magal plays while talking to the old Hoellisch regular (and current DJ Rodrigo Cyber).
Formed by Bon Harris, Douglas McCarthy & Jason Payne, Nitzer Ebb is still one of the most celebrated bands from the Industrial / EBM scenes since the mid eighties. (Continues)
