It's always a benefit when you can figure out your calling in life at a young age. With a passion for making music DJ Khalil knew since a young boy that making music was what he wanted to do and he didn't waste anytime making it happen. After linking up with L.A. rapper Chace Infinite, they formed the group Self Scientific and began to make a name for themselves. After years of hard-work and attention to his craft, Dr.Dre saw real talent in Khalil and tapped him to be one of Aftermath's in-house producers. Khalil's uncanny focus has earned him a grammy yet the motivation that has gotten him to the level he is at today has not been lost.
