HTF caught up with BBC 1Xtra's DJ and producer legend DJ Cameo in London recently to find out about a whole host of projects he is working on. Cameo has been DJing now since 1997 and in that time has worked on numerous stations including Taste FM, Ice FM, Delight FM as well as a ton of other stations before landing his current BBC 1xtra slot. He's worked at a label, he's done A&R, curated festivals and even appeared on the TV Drama 'Dubplate Drama'. This is a man who knows his stuff and a man who currently has a part in a big plan!

Cameo has always been a big supporter of the grime scene and we wanted to chat with him about the latest movement 'Future Grime Music' looking to push Grime into the limelight. He has recently been working with artists such as Kozzie, Maxsta, Nasa, Scrufizzer and Dot Rotten to produce some new tunes together under the 'FGM' umbrella and there is a lot more in the pipeline.

As well as this he has his own festival over in Ayia Napa, 'Summer Love Festival 2013', where Labrinth and Tinie Tempah will be headlining along with some of urban's finest acts bringing the party to the beach! We find out about all this and more in our exclusive interview below.
