In a time where Hip Hop and R&B has reached its highest point of popularity, we have found that DJ’s are once again at the forefront of talent development and exposure. When you think of great DJ’s in Philadelphia, amongst the thought you must mention DJ Buzz, CEO and Founder of Buzz Worthy Entertainment. Born Andrae' Rodney in the heart of Philadelphia, DJ Buzz has been in the business since he was sixteen years old. No stranger to the club scene, DJ Buzz has worked with the most popular night clubs in Philadelphia including: Evolution Night Club, Cebu formerly know as World Fusion, Mint,Transit Night Club, Chrome Night Club,Emerald City now know as Fusion, Palmer’s Night Club, Dream, Club 923, etc. Amongst this catalog, DJ Buzz has also worked with some prominent names in the Philadelphia music scene including: touring with Cassidy, working with Gillie Da Kid, Nina Ross, Black Cat Inc. and Keon Marley.

Buzz has also attacked the college scene, hosting events for Lincoln University, Penn State University, Drexel Univ./ University of Penn, and Widener University. He has hosted events for some prominent black Greek lettered organizations including, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, and Several Black Student Unions. Also, Buzz spun for 91.7fm Drexel University Radio and WDNR Widener University Radio.

Buzz’s latest venture is talent development. Working with Who Dun It Music Studios’ Rasheed “Hyptno” Sanders, Roscoe Murphy, Khalia Abner, Dj Diamondkuts, and Lamar Reyfield, Buzz’s latest products are: Worda Mouth (Hip Hop), Static (Hip Hop), Don Quan (Hip Hop), Vinny J (R&B) & Kandis Greene (R&B).

Buzz also established himself through his Jamaican Background and became a master of the Megatone sound, a sound of reggae music established by a set group of DJ’S of that craft. He has also worked with some of the top reggae DJ’s of the federation sound including DJ Curly Locks and DJ Kenny Meez. Through his abilities as a reggae DJ, he has done many events with the Caribbean night clubs’ La Rose and William Penn. As a fan favorite and with buzz continuing to grow for this phenomenal DJ, it is by no accident that his name is DJ Buzz AKA Mr. B. Worthy; or, as he would like to put it, “Tell Me I’m Not Buzz Worthy, You F$@%^& Crazy!!!”
