Novatia has written new material. In this video Novatia played their third song of their new EP called "Remind Your of Yourself". The song not finished yet, lyrics will be written and the band will fine-tune it along their rehearsal room. But for you as listener of Novatia's music, this is what it will sound like.

Music is recorded with the Zoom R24. Direct input of the synth (stereo), direct input of bass (mono), AKG microphone for the kick (mono), two overhead Line Audio CM2 microphones for drums (mono), direct input from Boss VE-20 of vocals (mono) and the guitar is recorded with the Shure SM57 (mono). Everything is simply mixed and mastered with Logic Pro.

Novatia is a rock band formed in 2014 by Joep Selen, Rindert Bul and Ingmar Kops. These former members of Selenic started this musical project with great enthusiasm and ambition. Novatia uses the more spherical aspect of Selenic's progressive, symphonic rock as a starting point and by adding elements from jazz, blues and fusion, they create their own melodic, grooving, soulful style of pop rock. Soon after the inception of Novatia, drummer Joost Lobbes (also known from gothic rock/metal band Kowai) joined the band. After a long search, the band was completed with bass player Fabian van Dijk.
