The combustion railcars 877 (later DB Class VT 04.0) were the first Dieselschnelltriebwagen the German State Railroad Company (DRG) and also the first streamlined diesels in scheduled deployment between Berlin and Hamburg in 1933. It was the then world's fastest train. It was known as the "Flying Hamburger" .
