NOTE FROM THE CONDUCTOR & ARTISTIC DIRECTOR:

The staging and choreography for this production was a collaborative effort by all students involved in the production. While I had in mind very broad ideas about how each scene would play out, details of what to do, where to move, and why to do so were all worked out by the students themselves. This is a collaborative model of staging and direction that I had the good fortune to experience as a company member with the professional Divergence Vocal Theater in Houston, TX. Special thanks must also be offered to all the voice faculty involved in preparing these students, and especially Mary Ann Hart and Marietta Simpson for their expert advice and feedback during dress rehearsals. Thanks also to Carlo Vincetti Frizzo for being our ad hoc lighting technician. It is my hope that every student involved in this production comes away from the experience a more confident and able actor and musician.
