Following two critically acclaimed sell out releases, Rua Sound changes things up with two bass laden tracks from TMSV and Taiko on a 140bpm tip.
Coming after high profile excursions at 160+ bpm on Rua, Arktikal Music and Cosmic Bridge, TMSV returns to the Dubstep fold.
On "Shot", monstrous low frequency rumblings land a killer blow in a track washed over with distortion, sirens and hypnotic, dark melodies. All this prefaced by an iconic sample delivered live and direct via legendary mic-man Flowdan.
Taiko's 'Bang Thing' goes somewhere new with a lurching grime assault.
An ominous string intro announces a steady, relentless low end attacks, skillfully offset with Taiko's unusual and distinctive percussive rolls. The track moves into fifth gear in the second half toward a devastating high octane crescendo not for the fainted hearted. Innovative and fresh, Bang Thing shows how much creative space remains to be mined in the space between grime and dubstep.
