DESCRIPTION:
A 6.7 or stronger earthquake affecting the California delta (East of San Francisco Bay) would destroy the earthen levees that protect 1000 square miles of farm land. The most devasting effect of such a catastorphe would be the contamination of California's water supply with salt water.
