Dawn Robinson: Studio Vocal Range En Vogue - Video
PUBLISHED:  Oct 07, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
Re-uploaded just so it can fit the screen! This is on the vocally unique Dawn Robinson, and her spot in En Vogue. There are no vocals that take place from anything else other than from her time as a member of En Vogue. Also the clips used are all from the studio, so it doesn't give a full scope of her abilities (she could possibly go higher, and maybe a little lower).
Dawn had such ease in her upper chest, which is why she and Cindy alternated 1 soprano part often. Vocally she could be a little off, and she had not as great as control over her voice like the other ladies did. Regardless, she killed and gave some memorable moments that fans would cherish (Mine being Runaway Love breakdown section). Her ease and distinct sound made her a wonderful addition to the group En Vogue.
If anything is wrong please message me, while informing of what is exactly wrong, and I will look into it as quickly as I can.
Vocal Range: E3-C#6
Side Note: There were two notes I was iffy about including; an A5 and C6 from Sitting By Heavens Door. Dawn and Terry sounded so much alike that I was slightly confused about it. I just decided that since I did not know whether it was her or not, to just not include it all together.
