DESCRIPTION:
This is the audio of a lecture/performance on John Cage given by David Copenhafer at A Night of Philosophy, a 12 hour event (7pm to 7am) held at the Cultural Services of the French Embassy on April 24-25 in New York City. The lecture concerns the relationship between voice and accompaniment in Cage's landmark recording from 1959--"Indeterminacy."
