Simon Berz and Dave Easley - Live duet in New Orleans - Video
PUBLISHED:  Mar 04, 2011
DESCRIPTION:
Simon Berz plays instruments made out of objects found on the street such as bedsprings, discarded chairs and speaker cabinets. For all we know the bed could have been slept in by Buddy Bolden. Simon played many shows of improvised music in New Orleans with a wide variety of musicians. This is the middle section of a very long duet between Simon and Dave Easley on pedal steel. At times the pedal steel is played with a sitar bridge for a slide.

There is a documentary in the works to be shown on Swiss television which was shot using much better equipment than what was used to shoot this video.
