DESCRIPTION:
"You Fool, Warren is Dead" is the first track off of the 2017 album "The Dukes of Alhazred" by Vancouver-based rock band The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets. Formed in 1992 the band is known for their Lovecraft-inspired music and general nerdiness. Other albums include "Cthulhu Strikes Back," "The Shadow Out of Tim" and "Spaceship Zero: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack."

Now Harley Warren's a hell of a guy,

He dragged me out to the swamp at night,

“I’m all alone in a city of bone,” Harley Warren intoned from the end of the phone.
He saw a thing that he would not tell
and then he pleaded that I beat it home.
I couldn’t say how long I was there
calling down for Warren, stupefied,

the gelatinous voice that replied

“You fool, Warren is dead!”
