DESCRIPTION:
The world uses us, and will devour us if we let it. This song is a prayer that captures my feelings about that, and how I desire for God to use me, instead.

The BOSS RC2 Looper is dead simple, and SUPER DUPER FUN to use! You should try one out, as they're not very expensive these days. :)

The compression, reverb and delay are provided by a BOSS GT8, and the RC2 is in the effects loop. The time based effects come after the RC2, and compression comes before. This configuration is crucial, because it enables a continuous and consistent sound from the loop. The stacked sounds would drive the compressor crazy and sound terrible, so it needs to come first. The time based effects should be after the looper so that the reverb and delay is not abruptly cut off at the seam of the loop, which would create an unnatural sound. A looper with an "instant overdub" feature (e.g. Line 6 DL4, Boomerang III, et al) will not have this problem - just disengage the overdub after your echos and such are complete. The guitar is a Taylor 514ce with a Fishman Blender, and tuned to C g d g a d. I capo 4 because I like the tenor sound.
