Formed in Los Angeles CA, 2004 FOREVER DARLING are comprised of founding members Adam Unknown (vocals, guitar, drums) and Leyla Beri (keyboards)

Adam Unknown was an accomplished drummer and guitarist for years in the Northwest Indie scene.then moved back to the city he grew up in, Los Angeles in 1998 to work in post production and compose movie soundtracks.

After drumming with several LA bands (Shapes of Race Cars, Suicide Club)

Adam starts a band called Girls Don't Cry with Barbara Dee Dee Ramone on drums and (Blair Bitch Project) on bass which leads to him stepping up from behind the drum kit to become a guitarist and singer/songwriter, problem was he had never sung before, nor had he been fond of writing lyrics or poetry, having mostly before only written instrumental music and slight melodic acoustic pop songs.

In Feb 2003, Adam meets Leyla Beri, a self-taught pianist / violinist who strongly encourages Adam to write his own lyrics and sing for the band. After a few months of rehearsals, the duo debuts to a sold out Echo in LA - April 2004.

Over 70 shows later at almost every venue in Californiathe band felt they had found thier sound, and were ready to record the results.

Studio recordings in 2007 led to the band’s self-released EP, of which the song "London Drugs" has received repeat airplay on KROQ by DJ Kat Corbett, was picked by LA Weekly as a top 5 song for the 2007 Detour Festival contest and DJ Mark Sovel at Indie 103.1 gave "Switchblade" a few spins. In April 2008, Ourstage.com featured the track "Lonesome" on their promotional CD sampler.

FOREVER DARLING are currently wrapping up their debut album at Satellite Park Studios in Malibu with producer Geza X (Germs, Elliot Smith, Josie Cotton, South Park Movie) and Paul Rosseler (Screamers, 45 Grave, Deadbeats). The album will include a cover version of the band’s favorite Bjork song, "Hyperballad" The full length CD, entitled "Victim Loved Silence" will be released in 2009.
