The latest release on System Recordings features brand new remixes of Bob Zopp & Naz 'Gaya'. The downtempo composition was originally released on the labels `Zen Chill 05`collection from May of this year. It`s dubby beats, rolling grooves and intoxicating atmospheres have huge remix potential and System Recordings have assembled a fabulous team on this one. Primary label artist Verche along with MNR and Exoplanet have provided the new versions and they've all turned out exceptionally cool.

First up is Verche who crafted one of this year's finest productions in 'No One Left Behind'. The track was licensed to Nick Warren's most recent 'The Soundgarden' compilation which was a Beatport #1 release and later saw its official release on System Recordings with a huge remix from Robert Babicz. For his 'Gaya' interpretation Verche has put his own unique hypnotic techno twist on the piece. One of the most captivating things about the original was its atmospheric presence and Verche has re-created that over an irresistible futuristic-style groove. As the record builds metallic hits and cinematic tones pierce through the ever growing atmospheric haze. A short break dissipates the tension to a degree and the subtle re-entry followed by another elegant build is sure to win the praises of an educated dance floor. Brilliant work from Verche.

The second remix on the release is provided by MNR who is making his third appearance on System Recordings. Ryan Dennis aka MNR has been a favourite of mine since I heard his initial productions on Sangria. His recent remix of Alberto Blanco & Marcelo Paladini 'High' on Agara Music was massive and his interpretation of 'Gaya' is very cool as well. In adding a much more musical vibe MNR has conveyed an amazing spirituality though this piece. Appropriately titled 'Cosmic Vibrations' it's a mix that's completely captivating from start to finish. The rush of emotion out of the main break on through the records second half is quite special. Certainly one of MNR's best remixes to date.

The third and final remix on the release comes from Exoplanet who is making his first appearance on System Recordings. Exoplanet has always been somewhat of a mysterious producer, he's got a very broad sound and his productions have really varied over the course of his ten year production career. His recent work for Balkan Connection and Soundteller Records has pushed the boundaries of atmospheric techno but for his 'Gaya' interpretation he's taken things in a much more psychedelic inspired direction. The records warm, pumping foundation and squelchy synth hooks should delight psy-trance lovers but it's still warm and inviting enough that it could easily fit into a traditional progressive house set. Great stuff from Exoplanet and a massive release from System Records. Don't miss it.
