Matthew S is a young producer from Vicenza.
He had the first approaches with electronic music in 2006 with the release of his first EP after other projects have been released on various labels.
The choice to focus on electronic music has been made for approaching any genre to it.
His first performances with Ableton are begun with the sampling of various types of sounds for creating a whole library of self-produced resonances, flanking it all to custom mapped controllers like Ableton Push and Livid DS1.
Currently, Matthew S is a production professor of Ableton Live and Live set at the Istituto Musicale Veneto of Thiene.
As a sound designer, he collaborated with many web magazines, like Espresso and thIS.
In 2015, he produced his first experimental album, titled “Call Me By Your Name” in collaboration with Von Felthen, a fashion designer. It is a mix of transverse and manipulated sounds, poised between sinuous rhythms and electro mellow atmosphere ambient music.
Thanks to his originality he was selected by MTV for Best New Generation 2015

Matthew S è un giovane producer originario della provincia di
Vicenza. I primi approcci con la musica elettronica li ha nel 2006 con la release
del suo primo EP, successivamente altri progetti sono stati rilasciati
su varie label. La scelta di focalizzarsi sulla musica elettronica è data dal poter
accostare qualsiasi genere musicale ad essa. Le prime performance con Ableton sono iniziate campionando suoni di vario tipo per poi avere una vera e propria libreria di risonanze
originali e autoprodotte, affiancando il tutto a vari controller mappati
ad hoc per la riproduzione, come l' Ableton Push e il Livid Ds1.
Attualmente Matthew S è docente di produzione in Live Ableton e Live
Set presso l'Istituto Musicale Veneto di Thiene.
Come sound designer ha collaborato con diverse web magazines, come l'Espresso e thIS.
Nel 2015 ha prodotto il primo album sperimentale in collaborazione con Von Felthen, fashion designer, dal titolo “Call Me By Your Name”. Si tratta di un mix di suoni trasversali e manipolati, in bilico tra sinuosi ritmi electro e suadenti atmosfere ambient music.
Grazie alla sua originalità è stato selezionato da MTV come Best New Generation electro 2015.

Già fuori per INRI a gennaio 2016 con il singolo Maneki Neko, è ora pronto a presentare un doppio lavoro in cui sprigiona la sua fantasia da producer.
