Once upon a time there was a young boy called Elias. And then he graduated. From a sound engineering school. He was a gay personality. Meanwhile in another neighbourhood, another young boy, Hector, stopped doing drugs because he realised he didnt want to die anymore. Both lads joined some band called dRaG. An alcoholic & self-destructive period for both of them. After that they became friends. Close ones. And started working together, sleeping together, taking out the garbage together etc Elias built his own studio (Silicon Factory) for post-production, demos & stuff. While his was doing jingles for TV spots, Hector stayed home, making his own music as Manzulaman, joined other bands,got sick of stupid people messing with his mind,never managed to quit drinking. hmmm. and so, he & another close friend of his, Stavros (Second Skin Tattoo Studio), created a project called Metalira. When they decided to start doing gigs, among others, they called Elias. He joined them with his laptops & synths to make it sound more pro. Studio sessions started to take place at Silicon Factory. Elias & Hector spent hours trying to concentrate in working on the Metalira album, but their creative minds could not just stop there. Thats when they decided, on 7 of September 2006, that they wanted their own project. The not yet ultra super known CLEFTONES.
