Thank you to Son House for being himself. He use to end his shows with this child's church song, and the audience would come unglued...it is awesome. You can find it here on Youtube. He reminded me that it isn't about creating a great song, but the force of personality that you put into it or just the putting of your total self into it. Son House did that and his greatness encouraged me to try to do the same...I fell far far short in this recording, but that is what happens greatness inspires others to try. I often stand at the corner of Blues Alley and Delta, and have a choice of which way to go. So that picture is very fitting for me. Find Son House's version of the song it is a real treat.
