The music of this first album is strongly influenced by the late-seventies modrevival and by classic northern soul, although you will find more influences on the record.
At the time, CHRIS VAN CHROME is working on a new record that will hopefully come out in early next year. It's going to be a little bit different, with a focus on a rougher sound with lots of funky rhythms and sould vibes combined with some dirty guitars, but also more complex songs. We will started with recordingin march and are still working on it, as there's always new stuff to think of.I really want to make this good, so it takes it's time.
