Christy & Emily's Japanese T-Shirt on Tom Tom TV - Video

DESCRIPTION:
Check out Brooklyn's own Christy & Emily's newest music video. When Christy&Emily found themselves in Barcelona, they knew exactly what needed to be done, a music video.
"We always imagine Flamenco dancers stomping to the rhythm of this song when we perform it" says keyboardist Emily Manzo. So when in Rome, or in this case Spain, that's the first ingredient. "I knew I wanted to be buried in the sand and have objects pulled from my body, in a surrealist nod to Spanish artist Salvador Dali," says guitarist Christy Edwards, "but Laura and Carla showed up with these vintage T-shirts from the 1992 Olympics. They felt like '92 was when Barcelona became more touristy, so we decided to poke a little fun at ourselves with that in mind." The track, "Japanese T-Shirt", is from the album Tic Tac Toe, Christy&Emily's latest release on the German label, Klangbad. Song features drummer Kristin Mueller and Peter Kerlin on bass. Directed by Laura Martínova von Schloss, DOP: Carla L. Samaniego, Edited by Joan Galo, Co-editor: Laura Martínova, Pospo: Albert Merino, Produced by KONEK, Thanks to Oscar H Grand
