''One Word'' is the first and only single (also her last single ever) from Kelly's 2005 album ''Sleeping In The Nothing''. The single topped 3 Billboard charts at the same time (Hot Dance Club, Hot Dance Airplay and Hot Dance Single Sales), thanks to the Chris Cox remix. Outside the U.S, the song was a top 10 hit on the U.K and Spain, on countries like Belgium and Canada it was a top 20 hit; overall, it was a moderate hit, on Latin America it received a really heavy airplay.

The song encountered some problems when Billie Curry, co-writer of Visage's hit song ''Fade To Grey'', realized how many similarities both songs have, but the issue was solved quickly when Linda Perry and the production team agreeded to share the royalties; as a fun fact, italian singer Tiziano Ferro used this song's structure on his song ''Stop! Dimentica''.

The music video is directed by Chris Applebaum and it's based on the 1965 sci-fi movie, ''Alphaville''. Kelly promoted the single and the album making appearances at TOTP, CD: UK and the MTV Australia VMA's 2005. More singles were intended to be released but all the plans were canceled when Osbourne had a nervous breakdown, due to some harsh comments about her weight, made by Jonathan Ross on his show.

The remix will be soon available for download.
