The Message

I got to share with you,
just a little information
that I heard my preacher saying
on an early Sunday morning--
and although I was half sleepin,
there was something in that sermon
that got my thoughts 'a stirrin'
with OH so MANY words, and LORD:
Do we really know what we're here for?
Do we know what language we speak?
And if you really feel it--the power and the glory--
well then you got to shout it,
and tell the world your story;
just try to remember that God made us all different;
he made us all specific--the way we think and hear...
and just because the words are right, doesn't mean the message is clear.
There are things I've done in my life, that I'm too ashamed of saying,
and I've spent so many nights asking forgiveness through my praying; but I know there's someone out there who can learn from my life lessons--
this goes for everyone, YES we are all sent on a mission--
to let em' know what we're here for--
we got to know what language we speak. And if you really feel it--the power and the glory--
well then you got to shout it,
and tell the world your story;
just try to remember that God made us all different;
he made us all specific--the way we think and hear...
and just because the words are right, doesn't mean...
we've got to trust each other; we've got to lean on each other;
we've got to learn to listen: understand. communicate. then--we can be as ONE: whoa LORD!
