Chakra

We are band Chakra and we come from Slovenske Konjice, Slovenia.

The band exist since 2001.There are 4 band members; Katarina (vocal), Cveto (led guitar), Mitja (bass) and Sebastijan (drums).

Our music is mix of new age rock with some metal cords. We played a lot of concerts in Slovenia and Austria and we also had a 10 days tour in Greece and Norway.

In year 2007, we were proclaimed for the best Slovenian rock newcommer in the bigest rock festival in Slovenia called Rock Otocec, we were winners of YounGunz Tour, so we got the chance to play one concert with Dog Eat Dog and we won first place in Zlata Cinela, Slovenian rock contest. We also played in Tulln, Austria (Bandbooost 2006) and win 2nd place.

Otherways, we are all self-learners, we play because we love music and we are trying to show our wiev on the world through our songs and lyrics. We are aware of awful things happening around the world, so we are trying to make a contribute to a better world through our songs, eventhoug if it might be only a drop of water in the big ocean.



Music in Chakra does not expose the individuals but gives them a connection to be the one.
