4 Track Recording w/ Yamaha MT-3X Cassette 4-Track recorder. Squier E-Series Strat, Fender Bass - Video
PUBLISHED:  Feb 27, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
.... Rythm Guitar recorded first onto Track-1. {NO guitar amps were used in this recording}. Guitar is into a Boss Metalizer stomp-box and an old DOD Chorus pedal, then directly into the MT-3X. Bass Guitar was recorded 2nd plugged DIRECTLY into Track-3. Lead recorded 3rd onto Track-2. The next possible step would be to "Bounce" these three tracks together onto Track-4, and then Tracks 1, 2 ,and 3 would be available for further layering or overdubs. Digital Recording is fun and convenient; but hard to top some old-school Analog for pure musical "warmth". Monitor is the old-school Boom-Box seen in the background. (Replace the Boom-Box with some decent headphones for ultra-quiet "Late-Night" recording). RCA style jack(s) connect the Output of the MT-3X to the "Line-In" on the back of the Boom-Box. Voila', instant recording studio... lol - Thanks for the "View"... jj48
