Canibus came up as one of the most respected lyricists in the earlier hip-hop days, and was also very respected on the battle front as well. He's been in numerous battles in the past, all recorded in a diss-track format however, and hip-hop fans were confident that he would be able to step into the ring and dismantle some of the top battles present in the ring today. However that was not the case.

Dizaster beat Canibus down with a lyrical thrashing that forced him to forfeit and pull out a notepad in order to recite the rest of his lines. Diz spoke to VladTV about the lead up to that battle, his respect for Canibus, but also what kind of an accomplishment it was for him to get that victory.
