I wrote this song on a beautiful dulcimer made by Jarrad Powell, and got to play it with my friends Mike and CJ on a couple of special occasions - once we played it in the poetry garden of the Seattle Center for Unexpected Arts. It was a quiet day, a handful of people came through pleasantly surprised - another time we played together at the Black Dog open-mic, (every Wed. you can hear awesome Snoqualmie musicians here) and Samantha H. came up and sang with us - it was super touching, and I just felt so grateful to be a part of it all.
