DESCRIPTION:
Many rock guitarists started out playing the blues. Most of us know a basic blues. But a jazz blues? No way – too hard, too complicated! It’s actually not that much of a leap to go from a standard blues to a jazz blues. In this lesson we’ll start with a basic blues and “morph” it into a jazz blues using a few jazz “tricks”.
Many famous artists have dabbled in jazz through the blues. (BB King, John Mayer and Amy Winehouse to name a few) Give it a try!
