Biografia
Torreggae (since 1998) ha all'attivo 15 anni di militanza sonora, 14 anni in cui Alex D, Cicciò sciò, Boom Buzz e Reddog hanno infiammato vinili e microfoni in innumerevoli dancehall in giro per l'Italia, dalla Sicilia fino a Trieste.
Si definiscono "Raggamuffin Souldiers" e la loro selezione musicale e le loro performance non hanno barriere, muovendosi rapidamente tra ska e djstyle, tra roots e raggamuffin.
Hanno attivamente collaborato con il c.s.o.a. Officina 99 di Napoli portando avanti vari progetti che, attraverso la diffusione di musica e cultura, hanno contribuito a far crescere le reggae Vibes in Campania, come il progetto S.U.B. (Sound Uniti dal Basso) insieme ai Bruciatown Fa-Mass.
Hanno ospitato e collaborato con artisti del calibro di Dennis Al Capone, Rootsman, Tippa Irie e aperto concerti di personaggi come Buju Banton, Capleton, Junior Kelly, Luciano, Zion Train solo per citarne alcuni.
Dopo l'ottima risposta delle prime produzioni stampate su vinile nel 2008, Torreggae ritorna nel 2011 con Digitup (2x12" vinile): un riddim digital ska su cui hanno cantato Tippa Irie -UK-, Solo Banton -UK-, Dee Bo General -UK-, Peppery (a.k.a. Bongo Chilli) -UK-, Wena -IT- e naturalmente gli stessi componenti di Torreggae RedDog & Boom Buzz. Attualmente Digitup è richiestissimo in tutta Europa e Giappone.

Torreggae (since 1998) is a Sound System project from Torre del Greco (in Naples area).
They define themselves "Raggamuffin Souldiers" and their selection and live performances have no musical barriers, moving rapidly between ska and dj-style, including roots and raggamuffin.
They have actively collaborated with the c.s.o.a. Officina 99 in Naples carrying out various projects that through the dissemination of music and culture have contributed to the growth of the reggae vibes in Campania, as the project SUB (Sound United from the Bass) along with Bruciatown Fa-Mass.
They have hosted and worked with artists like Dennis Al Capone, Rootsman, Tippa Irie and opened concerts for Buju Banton, Capleton, Junior Kelly, Luciano, Zion Train... just to name a few.
After the good response of the first productions printed on 7inch vinyl in 2008, Torreggae returns in 2011 with "Digitup" (2×12 "vinyl): A digital ska riddim featuring by Tippa Irie -UK, Solo Banton , Dee Bo General , Peppery (aka Bongo Chilli) , Wena and of course the same components of Torreggae: RedDog & Boom Buzz. Digitup is currently in high demand throughout Europe and Japan.
