"Doug's Tune" is an instrumental song written by Doug Dillard and performed by The Dillards on The Andy Griffith Show episodes The Darlings Are Coming (called "Slimy River Bottom" by Briscoe Darling) and Briscoe Declares for Aunt Bee. Doug Dillard wrote this song between takes on the set of "The Andy Griffith Show". Andy Griffith named it "Doug's Tune" and suggested using it on the show.
