I was fortunate to be present at the Beatles' famous Shea Stadium concert on August 15, 1965. One of my best memories is one of the opening acts, Brenda Holloway, singing her big hit "Every Little Bit Hurts," written by Ed Cobb. Released on the Tamla label in April 1964, it reached No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and can be found on the Motown CD, The Very Best Of Brenda Holloway. After all these years, it still sounds great. I do not own the right to the song, audio, or images contained in this video. The sound recording is administered by UMG.
