DESCRIPTION:
If the Brass Band of Columbus has a signature composition, this is probably it. Three Hymn Tunes, arranged by Gordon Langford in 1982, was a relatively new work when Dr. Paul Droste first assembled musicians for a new British-style brass band in 1984, and was featured during the BBC's first public performance. Now the band's Director Emeritus, Dr. Droste returned to the stage to lead Three Hymn Tunes (Jerusalem the Golden, Aberystwyth, and The Old Hundredth/Doxology) for the band's 30th Anniversary Celebration Concert on March 2, 2014.
