DESCRIPTION:
Brooklyn Qawwali Party doing a brass band interpretation of traditional Qawwali. In particular the Sufi songs sung by U. Nusrat Fateh Ali. The tunes were very recognizable and catchy. Interesting use of mostly non-traditional instruments. Only nod to traditional instruments was the Harmonium (seated player on left).
