DESCRIPTION:
Live looping with Ableton Live, recorded in one take with no pre-recorded loops or sequences. 3x Moog Mother-32 modules are triggered as a 3-voice polyphonic synth with an iConnectMIDI 4+ and Expert Sleepers Silent Way, with an NI KompleteKontrol 49. The same controller also triggers a Make Noise DPO and 0-Coast, also tracked with Silent Way. Bass is from a DSI MoPho. A Fender Rhodes is running through an MXR ZW-44 overdrive. Drums are from NI's "Modern Drummer" for Kontakt, triggered with a KompleteKontrol 25. 2x iPads are running Lemur as an Ableton remote, and 2x Novation Launchpad "S" controllers are handling recording, playing, and stopping loops.

Lighting is controlled with an Enttec DMXIS and Max for Live, triggering 6x Chauvet Slim Par 56 fixtures and 2x American DJ Mega Bar 50 fixtures. Audio is recorded with a PreSonus 1818VSL and an Expert Sleepers ES-8, sent to a Yamaha MG12XU and the balanced inputs of a Tascam DR44. Everything runs off an early 2011 MacBook Pro.
