A recipient of numerous prestigious prizes, among which a Grammy Award, a United Nations ambassador, Oumou Sangare is also known for masterful collaborations that constantly defy boundaries and reinvent musical genres. Her 2011 collaboration with the legend Herbie Hancock won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals.
"Ngnari Konon" is Oumou Sangare's first ever venture into electronic/house music.
