Here is Blood, Sweat & Tears' version of Randy Newman's"Just One Smile" from their debut album, Child Is Father to the Man, released on February 21, 1968 on Columbia Records. The vocal is by group leader, Al Kooper. The original group formed in 1967 in New York City blended jazz, rock, and blues and was one of the first groups to prominently feature horns. The album which peaked at #47 on Billboard's Pop Albums chart was then under appreciated, but certainly has stood the test of time. It is available on CD on Sony.
