DESCRIPTION:
BBB is one of five bands in the Sprint Buzz Band challenge. Each has a 3-5 minute video up on Sprint's Powerview Channel. The competition launched on 6/11, and everytime a Sprint subscriber watches a video on their phone, it counts as a vote towards that band.

Round One started 6/11, and lasts three weeks. If we are in the top 3 vote counts, we'll move to the next round.

Here is the full synopsis:

"The Buzz Band Challenge, exclusively on Sprint Power View, follows 5 up and coming bands from around the country as they take their shot at the big time. The Challenge is broken up into 3 phases.

Phase 1 begins on June 11th, when we'll meet the bands and get a feel for their music and personality. By accessing the bands' folders on their phones, Sprint customers will be casting a vote for the band. The more 'hits' a band's folder gets, the more 'votes' they get. Phase 1 will last for 3 weeks. At the end of the the 3 weeks, the votes will be tallied and the top 3 bands will continue to the next phase. Phase 2 will consist of the top 3 remaining bands performing a 2 to 3 song set at a yet to be determined venue. Those performance will then be posted onto the phone for all Sprint customers to vote on.

After 3 more weeks of voting, the band with the most hits will be declared the Buzz Band Challenge winner and provided with the opportunity to play a large venue, with full lighting and sound rigs, filled with their fans. The winning band's concert will then be shown in its entirety on Sprint Power View."
