*The first cassette release from Black Walls offers up two lengthy tracks in anticipation of his upcoming 'Communion' LP.
Mary of the Shrines sees him taking a turn to the heavy with a plodding beat and grave guitars bookending ghostly hums and reverberated vocals.
Field One, a staple of his live shows, is a mournful drone-folk ballad that slowly builds to a sun burnt storm of noise.
These songs were recorded in the same sessions as the Communion LP and offer up a taste of what is to come.
