After being blacklisted for suing his record company, Cameo records, for unpaid royalties, Charlie Gracie would sign with new companies, put out great releases, and be ignored by radio and television. Little did he know that the people that ran the radio stations and tv shows had a stake in the record company he sued, thus permanently shutting him out from the public. At least he continued to have success in the UK with some of his releases. Anyway, this one comes from 1960 and was his second of two releases for Roulette. It was written by Fred Tobias and Clint Ballard Jr. (who would later go on to write The Game Of Love for Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders).
