After catching up with OG Bigga Rankin after a studio session in ATL, he shared his story about what led him to where he is now. “I am a legend”. After being in the game for over 28 years, Bigga is committed more than ever to the grind and credits God for all of his success. Music has always been a part of his upbringing as he is Jamaican and there is a song for every moment and emotion. Bigga discusses the importance of manners and says that most DJs are too selfish and greedy to recognize the many blessings in front of them and instead look for man to bless them with material possessions. Bigga also mentions how 2Chainz is one of the most memorable artists that he’s ever worked with because of his authenticity. Needless to say, this was one of the most informative and deep interviews that I have conducted thus far!
