'THE ARK' is a Multicolor group showing various images reflected by the public, not insisting the only one concept, meaning to be the new icon which is strong but delicate as well as active but independent.

The debut song 'The Light’ includes 5 charms of 5 girls who possess strong points of rap, vocal, and performance respectively, and is composed by Kim Tae Sung, who composed 'The Boys' of GIRLS' GENERATION, and Iconic Sounds, where Andrew Choi from K-Pop Star belongs, together. It is a contemporary R&B song based on the lyrical guitar riff adding groovy rhythm and hip-hop sounds.

デビュー曲「光り（The Light）」は、ラップとボーカル、パフォーマンスなどの長所を備えた5人5色の魅力が詰まった曲で、少女時代「The boys（ザ・ボーイズ）」を作曲したキム·テソン作曲家とKポップスター出身のアンドリューチェが属するアイコニックサウンズと息を合わせた曲。叙情的なギター·リフを中心にグルーブなリズムにヒップホップサウンドが加味された‘コンテンポラリーR＆B（Contemporary R＆B）’曲です。

강인하면서도 섬세하고, 활발하며 독립적인 성향을 갖춘 뉴 아이콘이 되자는 뜻을 지닌 ‘디아크(THE ARK)’는 하나의 콘셉트만을 고수하는 것이 아닌 대중이 투영하는 다양한 이미지를 보여주는 멀티컬러(Multicolor) 그룹입니다.
