DESCRIPTION:
Perhaps two of the baddest cats on bass in New York City, Ben Williams and Yasushi Nakamura team up in this highly requested duet of Thelonious Monk's "Blue Monk". Both attended Julliard and were taught under bassist Ben Wolfe. Williams, a 2013 Grammy Award winner as part of the Pat Metheny Unity Band and Nakamura, an in-demand and solid musician originally from Japan perform here for the first-time together and there's only one word to describe it; KILLIN'!
