How do you come up with a name like Jump Into The Gospel? Simple. Download a computer program that converts your crap name into something marketable. How does Gospel write such, "I will save Zelda!" pop songs? Simple. They carb up and hit the batting cages before every band practice. Whats does the last letter in the song O.P.P. stand for? Well... that's not that simple.

Fronted by Louis Epstein, the band is also composed of guitar player Ben Vescovi, bass player Lakis Pavlou (former bass player for Gordon Gano of The Violent Femmes), keyboard player Erik Tonnesen (toured with Holy Ghost!), and drummer Chris Stein (toured with The Drums). Gospel arrived at their cool-kid-versus-nerdy-kid-80's-movie-montage sound accidentally but continue it with a celebrated certainty.

Gospel is currently punching shows' lights out in support of the recent release of their self-titled EP. They look forward to releasing new material and are playing shows in a city near you.
